Would i mobile phone brought from the US work in the UK if i placed a UK sim in it?
I need to purchase a phone whilst im here in the US however im frightened that it wont work even if i placed my normal UK sim in it.
Will it not work at entire?
Will it work well?
Will it be dreadfully expensive?
Will it do things actually awkward?

if ur not buying a phone from a contracted provider ur connection will be fine.
But ur gonna buy the sim and phone seperatley gonna be alright. U can take away the sim and use another sim if ur in another country. Plus make sure ur buying a GSM handset that supports most of the available networks in the world. For example – GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
